My Favorite Authors... So Far

Reading is one of my favorite pass times.  I have a few author's who are my favorite's.  I hope to share the books I have read and what I liked about those books as well as share what I am reading, and who knows what all else I will discuss here.

I am sure I am not the only person who as a student really didn't find reading as something I enjoyed doing.  It was something I had to do.  After joining, "the real world" I found that I really enjoy reading and there are some stories out there that I can actually read over and over again.

Nicholas Sparks.  I love all of his books. I also love the movies they have made of his books.

Harry Potter!  I am a total Harry Potter Geek and love rereading and rewatching these stories.

The Mists of Avalon I love this book and tried to get into the other books in this series, but they are very big...

Outlander Series/ Lord John Series (Diana Gabaldon)  I love all of the books and stories that Diana Gabaldon has written.  She is a great author!

Inheritance Cycle (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Inheritance) by Christopher Paolini  I love these books!  Great stores!

Earth Children Series (Clan of the Cave Bear, The Land of Painted Caves, The Valley of Horses, The Plains of Passage, The Shelters of Stone)  I love these books as well.  It usually takes me a while to finish one of these.  They are quite big! I am working on The Shelters of Stone right now!

Lord of the Rings (who doesn't love Lord of the Rings!)  I can't wait for the Hobbit to come out in theaters... So excited to see how they did on the movie!

Twilight Series (yes... yes... I know!  I still love them)

Hunger Games Series I read these books in literally 2 weeks.  There was no stopping me once I started.  I loved the movie and can't wait for the next ones to come out.  I think I may need to read these again... you know you always catch more the second time through!

These are the main ones... I have a love a series! (smiles)  It's a gift and a curse at the same time because i usually get hooked in one in the middle so I get to read one or two books... then I'm sitting there going, "where's the next one!"

The last book I read was The Harbinger  I really loved this book.  It made me think on so many levels about so many things past, present, and future!  It is an excellent book and I recommend it to anyone looking for their next good book to read.

Well, that's all I can think of right now.  More to come!
